Company History
Lackfabrik Bäder GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1936 by Paul Bäder, initially focusing on the production of furniture lacquers. After World War II, the business was continued by Georg Martin and Kurt Pflanzer, who shifted their focus towards the production of industrial coatings, ultimately leading to the development of torque seals (Schraubensicherungslack) in 1962.
In 1974, Gernot Pflanzer took over management from his retiring father and successfully led the company into the 21st century. Then, in 2017, Anke Pflanzer and Moritz Storch became the new managing directors.
